Universal Hollywood Ticket ?

We were thinking of giving our 2nd day to some friends since we can't use them. Does anyone know if they do the fingerprint scan at Universal Hollywood?

Hi, I was just there yesterday. Our tickets were from a Southern California City Pass booklet, not sure if that made a difference but we did not need to do a fingerprint scan. They do have the set-up, but we weren't scanned.
