Universal (Harry Potter) on Thanksgiving day

We've never been to Universal. My friends and I are going on a cruise to celebrate turning 40 this year. Bringing husbands, but no kids. We leave from Port Canaveral the Friday after Thanksgiving.

I LOVE Harry Potter, and although we've been to WDW almost every year since 2000, we've never gone to Universal. Mainly because our younger two just aren't quite old enough yet (but they are now close!).

I'm debating whether I want to try to squeeze in Harry Potter the day before our cruise, but that would be Thanksgiving day. Is this a silly idea? Should I just wait and add it to our next WDW trip?

We've been to WDW on Thanksgiving day even though everyone says to avoid it, and we had a great time. But there was nothing we "had" to do since we go to WDW all the time. For this, I would want to knock out all of Harry Potter (I know I would need a ticket to each park). Anything extra in the parks would be a bonus.

You should be able to do potterville that day.

You might find you want to squeeze in a day for the next wdw trip also.

Thanks! I think we are going to try it. Right when our oldest was tall enough to ride most things in Universal, his two brothers came along. So we haven't made it to universal yet. Plus, it's SO much cheaper to add a day to disney. But oldest went to Universal with a school trip earlier this year, and I've been jealous ever since.
