Universal Front of the Line Tix

We purchased the front of the line tix for June 7th. I hesitated doing this, but purchased them anyway (we did this in Orlando Universal and there was no benefit to them because regular lines weren't that long). I expect Universal to be busy because of the time of year and the Harry Potter attraction being open

My question - is there anything to know about the front of the lines tix? Is there actual benefit to them (although I should have asked this before I bought them - aye ) Will they decrease wait time or is the "front of the line" line just as long?

I think the front of the line in Hollywood tickets allow you to do each attraction 1 time...unlike in Orlando where it is unlimited front of the line access.

Granted, it's been a year since we did them during Feb 2015 - President's day week, on a Wednesday. If we hadn't bought those FOL passes, we would've missed like 4 rides easily. Seriously. It was so packed, we pulled in right as we watched about 7 tour buses empty out. I think the longest we waited for any FOL ride was maybe 7 minutes. Everything else was close to walk-on for us, while the wait times were ridiculous for stand-by. For us, each ride was really only a 1-ride thing - though my kids loved Minion Mayhem - we just weren't up to the waiting an hour to ride it again in such short a time.

But yes, just like kkendle said, 1-time only for each ride to use the FOL benefit.

If you buy discounted park tickets from a site are you still able to buy FOL for those tickets or does it have to be all from Universal
