hey all.... Thoughts on bringing a 7 y/o to universal? is it too 'old' of a park?

I think a 7 y.o. would enjoy it. Depending on height there may be a few rides he/she won't be able to go on, but you should be able to do most of it. We took my niece who was 9 at the time. She's very immature for her age and extremely petite. She loved it! She was able to do everything in Universal and was only unable to do Hulk, Dr. Doom and Dueling Dragons in Islands of Adventure.

Our DD is 7 and she will be going back again this year. The last time we visited she was 5 y.o. She loved Shrek 3D, Jimmy Neutron, Jaws and the ET ride. This time around, she's looking forward to going on The Simpsons ride. :cutie:

IoA has the majority of the rollercoasters, so there might be a few rides your child won't be able to go on depending on height, but there is still plenty to do for a child of that age. :goodvibes

Our 7 year old loved it when we were there this summer. There is a lot to do at both parks for them . Enjoy it .

My 7 year old ds enjoyed it very much. His favorite ride was Men in Black. He also liked Cat in the Hat and most of the things in Seuss Landing. He did not like the Simpsons (too jerky & rough for him), and he was too short for some of the bigger rides.
