Hi everyone!

DH and I are taking our first trip very soon and staying at PB! I have seen a lot of talk about lanyards so we got those to put our express passes in but what about tickets? Do you have to go to guest services and get a hard ticket? Should we just buy the tickets when we get there? Can we do this at the hotel?

Thank you all! We are excited to check out UO!

Hi there, I am by no means an expert but we purchased our tickets in advance and received them when we checked into the hotel (Separate desk). Bringing your own lanyards is a great idea because as you can imagine, they aren’t cheap there. We’ll be brining our own on our next trip as well. And yes, you can buy the tickets when you get there as well.

We've always bought our tickets ahead of time. If they're e-tickets, you can have them reprinted at guest services at the park gate so they fit into the lanyard. You can also add them to the UO app, but I prefer to have a printed ticket as well so I don't have to fuss with my phone in line. I always wait until after I have the ticket reprinted before adding it to the app because I don't know if the serial number/barcode changes at all when they reprint them. Maybe I'm just being paranoid though. Ha!

You can get your e-ticket or print-at-home ticket switched to a convenient physical ticket at the hotel, at least you could at Sapphire Falls so I assume the ticket desks at all the hotels have the same capability. Tickets will be cheaper if bought online ahead of time than onsite at the gate.

Can you even do this with the Undercover Tourist tickets?

Yes we did a couple of months ago at the Sapphire Falls hotel ticket desk. However, they weren’t going to do it at first because they explained they convert tickets to credit card size that are ‘will call’ only but they told me they’d do it for me anyways. I had e-tickets from UT that I also had printed out on a full sheet of paper from home. It did make it more convenient for DS’s girlfriend to keep this handy sized ticket in her wallet.
