Universal Express times posted?

Does US post the "return times" being distributed for a given ride at other places in the park? In other words if you are at Hulk, can you check the UE time currently being distributed at Dueling Dragons? Also can you check on the other park? Like be at Hulk and see what the times are for MIB etc? Or is it like WDW and you have to walk all the way to the specific ride to check the times? Thanks.

No it isn't posted and unlike Disney, it doesn't post the express return time at the machines either.

The only way to find out the return time is to get an express pass from the machine. Unlike Disney though, Universal gives you a choice of two return times. You are shown two times to choose from and then you pick the one that is most convenient for you. It then prints out the express passes with the time you chose.

For the first week of August (wednesday) is it a reliable system to make your day efficient? Do they sell out pretty early? Sounds kind of hard to plan by, we may just rent a room and get room keys. The one pass per ride sounds kind of expensive also for 8 people especially for both parks. Thanks for the info.

I would stay onsite as your room keys will work for both the day you checkin and the day you checkout.

The machine expresss passes are free but like Disney, you will have to wait up to 2 hours to get another one.

At Universal, I would go to Shrek first and send someone over to get an express for Mummy (9:00 AM) while you wait in line. Then ride MIB and Back to the Future. Then get an Express for ET at 11:00.

At IoA, I'd ride Hulk when first arriving and get an express for Spiderman (around 9:00). Then ride Dueling Dragons and get an express for Dudley Do-Right at 11:00 AM.
