Hi, never been to universal and was thinking about doing one day, next July, while we are at WDW. Only interested in US not IOA. Is the universal express plus, that you purchase, the same at the FOTL pass. I know I can only use it's benefits just once per ride. We are staying onsite at disney, not Universal. It would be 3 adult priced tickets and one child under 9. Can anyone help me out on what the basic cost for the tickets with the add on plus would be for one day? Thanks in advance! :flower:

It is just like having a fast pass for every ride and show and no certain return time. You use it on the ride when you choose. They also offer free express passes through the machines that work similar to Disney's fastpass. You can get one approximately every two hours but they may run out by noon for the popular rides in July.

The price is the same for both adults and children. It is not an "add on" but a separate pass that is scanned at each ride express entrance. In July 2005, it was $35 per person per day for a one park express pass plus. No clue want it may cost next year.

1-day 1-park ticket at the gates is: 59.75+tax
I believe the express passes are anywhere from $20 to $35 per park per person.
During summer, I would assume 25-35 but can't say, didn't see it on the site yet since it was 2006.

Edit: Good Phamtom came to save the day :) Was trying to look for express passes but it wouldn't work :confused3

And Foladar saved the day for me because I forgot that the poster was also asking for what the park tickets cost. My post above is just referring to express pass plus.

For the regular park entrance the child's ticket runs about $10 less than the adults. But for express pass plus, the adults and childs are all the same price.

Thank you, everyone! I don't know yet if we are doing US or not...this will only be our 2nd disney trip, so we might end up saving US for when we can devote more time and stay at a US onsite resort. Thanks again! :flower:
