Universal/discovery Cove??

Where is a good reasonable place to stay near Discovery Cove/Universal Studios and Sea World? I think these are all near each other-not really sure. My kids will be 8 1/2 and 11 when we go in December and I need any info from you pros!! Thanks

RPR is the cheapest out of the Universal Resorts. Check their web-site www.universalvacations.com they always have some sort of deal going on.

The best part about staying at one of these resorts is that not only how covenient it is to everything but also the FOTL access.

Also the hotels have a shuttle bus to Seaworld, once at Seaworld they take you over to Discovery Cove in a car.

Also, I did Discovery Cove 2 years ago. We all enjoyed it but wouldn't do it again. It was a little on the expensive side although we did get free admission to Seaworld for one day for the next seven days. Don't know if they still do that or not.

We just returned from Royal Pacific. While we were there we went to Discovery Cove and to Sea World the next day. The ride from the hotel was not bad. We had a car and drove. I would recommend staying on Universal Property. You can't beat FOTL. Also, after a day of swimming with the dolphins, you can walk to CityWalk from the hotel.
