Universal DIS MEET ~~~ last week of JUNE 2007

We just had to change our trip dates from July to June 28-30 due to a conflict with my husband's work. That means we can join in on the Dis meet on the 29th!!! Are the plans still the same? Margaritaville between 2-3pm?

That's great to hear Melissa! I do believe we are doing the meet that day and we'll have to pinpoint more of a time. I'm not gettin' any input here, so i just may have to be a "big, bad mom" and tell everyone what to do (i don't want to be the "plan maker", i was just "initiating" plans)....but, since we're on about a month for most, keep tabs on the thread and we'll be more specific...maybe by the end of the holiday weekend (i have THREE days off IN A ROW --that never happens when not on vacation!-- so, i will be able to have more time to help arrange this meet whilst cleaning out the attic )

glad you'll be joinin' us....if i'd known, i would have just BROUGHT you that cd....

Thanks for the update Barb. We'll probably just stop in for a quick hi since we're only at the parks for 2 1/2 days. So, wherever and whenever should be ok with us! And yes, if we'd only been able to see in the future you could've saved your postage money on the CD. Oh well - I still appreciate you giving it it me!!!

my stomach's in a knot, still thinking my mother will have some sort of episode or another (real or imagined) either before we leave or are on our trip; to throw a monkey wrench into our plans...she hates when we travel. As in i'm not able to cater to her every beck & call. Dread the phone calls home "...the sky is falling..." Once she was convinced one of my dogs went rabid and we needed to return immediately.My oldest 2 sons hold down the fort; but she still tends to freak.

I'm watching to see what the final plans are. We are free all day Friday, so the time doesn't really matter to me. I'm everyone's WDW planner (planning trips for/with 3 friends right now), so I'm happy to sit back and let someone else make all the decisions!

Margaritas do sound good - we haven't been to Margaritaville yet. I don't think I will be riding the Hulk anytime after the meet...

that's the problem here.....we need to finalize these plans. The closer we get, the less time peeps will have to be here and make decisions.

2:30 is perfect - DH and I will be there. "Mickey" is a name I can remember even after I have had several margaritas. This is our first USF trip without our DS who is almost 18 and graduates in a few weeks, so I am looking forward to doing some adult things for a change.
