Universal credit card throuh chase give park ticket discounts?

Of course I did a search before asking this and cannot find the answer. Does the Chase universal card give discounts on park tickets? Should I become a member? Tell me the benefits of the card in laymen's terms :0 Thanks so much AND will the benefits be better than the kiss offer $89.95 for a 5 day 2 park tickets?

Hey 3DisneyNUTS. We got the Universal MC last year, and it ias acutally not to bad. If you go to your Universal Rewards site the have a few discounted ticket deals.
As of this moment the only mutli-day ticket deal they are offering a special on is the buy 2 get one free, and buy 4 Bonus passes get a 5th free.
The Pref. AP is $152.95 and the Power Pass is 98.95.
You also get 10% off just about every purchase in UO (except for vending carts.) Plus you do get double bonus points towards Universal merchandise (only 80,000 for a 3 night stay at the RPR, should be at that level in 20 years).
We did get free tickets to the Orlando premier of Van Helsing (had several location choices, but by the time I found them most were gone). We got the passes 2 days before the screening, but nfortunately live in PA.
Where did you find the 5 day power pass deal for 89.95, trying to find that for DD for our July trip, best I price I found was on the Universal main site.

and I'm waiting to learn if you get 20% off on all park restaurants with the card. That's what the Chase operator told me when I called. Anyone try yet?

On the site, it says nothing about getting 20% off park restaurants.

3DisneyNUTS, I'm sorry for the confusion, but when I said Buy 2 get 1 free, I meant the Buy a 2 DAY ticket get a third DAY FREE. It's just the standard multi-day ticket deal, with a small discount.

But if you are interested in the card, check out the site. They do offer specials on vacations. If you stay onsite, you get a 4th night free. BUT, you have to book through the Universal Vactions site. And they are EXPENSIVE!

click on the left column, other theme parks.
then go to orlando universal
right underneath the yellow box where the admission prices are you will see one paragraph about a special promotion where it is $5 off the special price of $95.xx ( i believe something about promotion in florida)
click on either site and it takes you directly to the orlando universal ticket spot.

order there.
i did and got my tickets mailed to me. with it includes a coupon packet with many discounts.
ie: 20% resturants/ merch/ drinks 2 for 1, etc.

i didn't believe it at first but its legit and in my hand i hold the coupons and ticket.
i will give away the tickets i know i won't use. i will post on that later.

How much did you have to pay for shipping and tax? Are you sure it's 20% off the restaurants there? Is it the restaurants in both parks and City Walk? Are there any options to pick up at the park to avoid the shipping charges? Does anyone know how you get coupon booklets if you pick up the tickets through that automatice machine there?

in my hand i hold the coupons and will highlight them for all that want to know 15% off all food and non alcholic beveraes at finnegans, lombards, captain quint's (this one after 4pm, international food and film festival (after 4), confisco grille, mythos restaurant, circus mcGurkus, comic strip cafe, any gift shop at IOA (2 of these coupons)
at hrh: 15% off lunch at kitchen, 10% off kitchen, free glass of wine per adult entree at trattoria del porto, free appetizer platter with two adult entrees at mama della's ristorante, (pbh) 10% off all lunch entrees at islands dining room or jakes american bar(rph)
city walk: free kids meal with each adult entree pastoamore, free specialty drink at bob marley, free domestic draft, house wine or soda w/ one purchase at margaritaville, free dessert w any sandwich or entree at motown cafe//raven will continue in next window

if you buy online, you pay $2 to get your passes at the machine at the park. then you go to guest services and they will give you the coupon book. i was told they will check the computer to verify but you also can print your reciept from on line.
me, i was a sucker and paid $11 for overnight delivery. wanted the 5 day pass in my hot littlehand and wanted to see the coupons. they all expire 12/04.
i am going 0ct9 for 5 days and will give away some coupons prior. want some of you to enjoy the ones i don't need.
some one posted online for one of them.

oh yea, even though it cost me some $ to get this in advance, i will give coupons away free. i know how expensive it is to take a vacation and i am happy to share what i have.
but remember, i will only give away what i don't want.
i don't do alchol and can't even spell it tonight, probably because i had to much to dringk .......lol but will give all of those away.
my kids aren't coming with me so the kid dinners i don't need. shhhhhhh don't tell but i am running away from home in oct and the kids don't know where i am going.don't tell. especially the tag fairy, i am told he/she can't keep a secret.....hmmmm
