Universal Closed??

I plan on going to US/IOA on the Dec. 29-31st. I have been there on the 31st a couple of times and I am expecting the worst case scnario for the waits. However, my only concern is that they close the park becasue of the crowd size. (I went to DW one Thanksgiving and they closed MK). Has anybody been there when they have closed the Universal Parks??
