Universal CityWalk cineplex renovations

I just learned that the 20 screen multiplex became a Cinemark location (beginning last September), and that the company was going to do a huge upgrade.

When I went to the multiplex July 2017 and 2018 to see movies, the location was okay but it desperately needed a refresh. I'm surprised AMC didn't stay and do their own renovations.

Any more news or updates regarding updated auditoriums?
