Universal Christmas and more!

We are a Disney crazy family planning our first trip to Universal! We are so excited and our group of 8 (ages 9-60) will be staying at the Portofino from December 15-18 and then moving to the Contemporary at WDW for the remainder of our trip. We've done Disney Christmas many times, but I'm looking for advice on people favorite Universal Christmas experiences!

Mannheim Steamroller is a nice way to end an evening in Universal
We like the Grinch Who Stole Christmas Show.

Overall, the best thing in the weather.

There's a bunch of brand new Christmas stuff happening this year in both Potter areas, and a few things that haven't been announced yet. Grinchmas and the concerts are great (as is the parade), but no idea on how the new stuff will be (yet). The nighttime Christmas show at Hogwarts sounds neat though.

Thank you both so much, The Grinch is a must do for sure. Is there a Christmas thread I can follow for details of the new stuff? I searched, but might have missed it!

The grinch does a meet and greet in one of the shops. I think it was the high in the sky trolley shop. Go in the side entrance and watch. It is hilarious! All the TMs performing as the grinch are very good.
