Universal Character Autographs?

I am in the process of making an autograph book for my son for DW & it dawned on me that he might want some of the characters at US also since we are going for a day. My question is, are there characters at US & if there are, do they give out autographs and which ones? I am custom making his book, so I don't want to invest a lot of time if only a few sign autographs. TIA!!

We got Cat in the Hat's autograph & picture. I don't know who else ...we didn't get anyone else's. Either I didn't have the book w/ us when we saw them, or I had the book with us and we didn't see them!

We were at Universal in late June for 5 days. We didn't do autographs but did lots of pictures. I would think if you provided the pen and paper, any character would sign. We had minimal wait time for all characters. Here is a list of who we saw:
Studios - Jimmy Neutron, Spongebob, Marilyn Monroe, Blues Brothers, Scooby Doo and Shaggy, Madagsacar, Shrek, Donkey, Fiona

Islands - Woody Woodpecker, Grinch, Cat in Hat, Sam I Am

We were just walking around and saw the characters - we didn't go searching for any. I think there may be a guide that will give you specific times and places.

The characters are all over the parks...we made it a point to get pics with just about everyone we came in contact with. I asked at Marvel SH island at the store across from the spiderman ride and they told me what time the characters came out, it was kind of a big deal (for kids, anyway)...they all come out on atv's, its cool. at Seuss Landing, luckly, we stumbled upon those characters. There are characters out each morning in the front of US and IOA gates. Look in your guide...they announce it in there, i think, for some characters.
dont worry, they are all over. you wont be disappointed.
heres the ones we got. all of these are just pics, but i know if you ask for the autograph they will be happy to do it.
US...spongebob, shrek, fiona, marilyn monroe, curious george, angelica, scooby and shaggy, woody woodpecker, dora, beatlejuice & monsters, madagascar, Zorro and that lady (cant remember her name), Lucy & Ricky
IOA...Spiderman, Rogue, Storm, Captn. America, Wolverine, Thing1 Thing2, Cat in the Hat, the green eggs and ham dude, The grinch,

thanks for the head's up. i'm surprising the family with a trip to universal studios. we're going to disney world next year and i told them that it wasn't in the budget to go to us but we're going to do it. it's nice about the characters because my sno 9, nephew 8, niece 8 will get a kick out of it. never mind the 15-17 year olds

Thank you all so much! I made DS some pages for Universal & he is really psyched about meeting SpongeBob & Jimmy Neutron!! I even made a page for Marilyn & Lucy & Ricky - he'll appreciate them when he's older! Once again, proof that

We took our 4 year old DGS to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure last week for 3 days. We got over 20 autographs and pictures. The park map tells when and where the characters will appear. The Spiderman breakfast at Confisco was great too. The Cat and the Hat and Thing 1 and Thing 2 were there too.
