Universal and Harry Potter ride

Members of my family will be going to Universal in June, mostly for the Harry Potter ride. Two of them are plus sized. Will there be issues with them fitting in the seats for the Harry Potter ride? I haven't been yet so I was not able to answer this for them. Thanks for your input.

could you be more specific about "plus size?" I myself am a size 18, 5'1", 170 lbs, and I had NO PROBLEM at all. No team members gave me a second look or even asked me to try the sample seat. I did pass one larger man in line being asked to try the sample seat. There was one extremely obese man who was not able to ride.

We haven't heard of many people who haven't been able to ride for quite a while now.

One person is 5'3", about 220 lbs. Her boyfriend is about 6'3" probably about 300 lbs (I don't know for sure). Thanks for the link to the other thread, I will forward it to them.

They both should be fine

She should be fine, and his height will help him b/c he'll be lankier than a shorter person.

Now, if he has very broad shoulders, he could run into problems, since squeezing your shoulders together makes you take up more room from front to back, and that might cause problems.

DH is 5'10" and somewhere in that range with incredibly broad shoulders, and he hasn't been able to ride yet. He wishes he were taller, b/c it would probably allow him to ride.

Shoulders were my issue. I am 6'1" and 270 lbs but wasn't able to fit because my shoulders were too large.
