I'm toying with the idea of driving down to Florida (from PA) on the 27th. With an all day drive split up between two people I figure it will take about 16 hours. Since I have nearly two weeks off then, I keep thinking this might be a good idea to get away for a few days.
My questions are:
1: What are the crowds like after X-mas?
2: Will Grinchmas still be happening?
3: Is it too late to try and book an on site hotel room?
4: How do you get those awesome discounts I see everybody getting at HRH and Portofino?

Even though we just came back from a 6 day stay in Orlando this past Oct. I still can't get the place out of my system. Iwanna go back!!!!!!

Any info is appreciated.
Thanks!!!

The week of Christmas is usually the busiest times at all the parks. I would expect wall-to-wall people. As for booking a room, there may still be some available, but I would expect to pay $250-$300 a night.

Grinchmas occurs from November 23 to December 31.

As for discounts, keep an eye out on these boards. When someone finds a good deal, they are bound to post it! :)
