HI-

My hubby and I are travelling & staying at POP Dec 10-18. We want to Uber over to US for a day or 2.

Crowd levels look low. We are mainly going to experience both of the Harry Potter areas, but since we are big movie fans, I can see us doing some of the other rides/shows.

With crowd levels that low, will everything pretty much be a walk on? If so, I'm thinking 1 long day means we can do it all. Opinions? 1 long day, both parks means we get to ride the train.

If we split into 2 days, I really can't see spending even more money just to be able to ride the train. But oh man, we do want to ride the train !

help me decide please.

Riding the Hogwarts Express is worth it. Save your pennies until then so you can add it. Even if you don't need to hustle through one day, you'll enjoy fully experiencing all the HP stuff.

for lower crowds, go Monday the 12th or Tuesday the 13th

avoid the weekends as locals will be there for the christmas set up

Ok...thanks for the tips... So with the low crowds, do ya'll think we need 1 or 2 days at Universal?

2 days so you can see and do everything in the parks

1 day would have you rushing and you would miss what the parks have to offer you

The darkside is not like 6 Flags where you are there only to do rides and the coasters
There is more going on at UO as it is themed quite well

Agree completely. Much better to do two days and make sure you hit everything, than feel rushed trying to get to all that you want to.

You really need to ride the Hogwarts Express at least once. We did it last weekend for the first time. I'm not a big HP person, so it really holds no interest for me now, other than to get from park-to-park without having to go back out through the entrance. But, I do think everyone should have the experience for themselves to see if it's worth doing over and over in the future.
