we are nowleaving on 12/18 at 7:47am out of Ohare airport. it says we will arrive at like 11:25 am. how is a direct flight take that long? it says the time travel was like 2 hours 30 minutes, that time shown for landing is longer then 2 hours and 30 minutes. how do they figure that time frame or is it time change from chicago to orlando??

The time is correct, Orlando is Eastern time zone, Chicago is Central, 1 hr later.

Departure times and Arrival times are stated in the time zones of the cities envolved at the time you depart, and the time you arrive. The actual time enroute will be about 2:30 but the time in Orlando will be 1 hr later due the time zone thing.

Chicago is on central time, Orlando is on eastern time. One hour is due to the time change. Your flight is a little longer than 2.5 hours.

Yep, times listed are always local to the airport. Chicago is CST and Orlando is EST.
