Last night I watched the DVD of United 93, the film of the last hours of the hijacked United Airlines flight that the passengers fought back and were sadly killed on 9/11

What a powerful superbly acted and directed film.

I have not felt that emotional about a film for many years, that I was teard up at the end.

Superb factual film

Didn't know that had been release yet. Will have to check it out :)

An excellent film but very emotional.

It hasn't. It's due for release in the US on the 5th and here on the 2nd October.

Will definitely check it out...

Wanted to watch it, but not at the cinema... I know that it will be traumatic and emotional and would rather watch it in the privacy of my own home.

Glad that it is good - hope that it did the passengers, crew and everyone involved justice.

Boo

We watched it last week, and I agree its very emotional, especialy effective in making you despise the terrorists, particularly the young one in the grey t-shirt and red head scarf.

I would say they have done it very well, there appears to have been no over use of "artistic licence", so what you see could almost be a documentary in the timeline. Its very intersting to see ATC losing contact with other planes etc.

And it stars the great David Rasche, one of my favorite actors. Trust him, he knows what he is doing.

We saw it at the pictures, at the end it was so eerie you could hear a pin drop. Very powerfull film. We want to see the twin towers one now.

slightly OT: a documentary by the survivors is on channel 4 nest week, in fact, there are several tv programmes on, quite an emotional weeks tv coming up I feel.

That was how it was when we saw it. My DS commented that he'd never known a cinema that quiet.
