If anyone has info on square footage of 1 BR units for the DVC resorts, I would appreciate knowing that.

This does exist, somewhere, but I don't remember where.

MOST villas are the sami size regardless of resort.

OKW, however, has the largest villas of all--by quite a bit.

I was actually (somewhat) disappointed by the size of the 1 BR villa at SSR as compared to OKW.

Let me point out you will see listings for BWV for larger units such as 412 for a studio. Rob's info is more accurate, the rooms for BCV, VWL, BWV and SSR as all essentially the same size.

Yes, that confusion about BWV sizes has its basis in mistakes made by Disney. When plans were originally submitted to government officals for construction of BWV they showed larger room sizes than ones actually built and finally approved that were based on amended plans. However, the larger sizes crept into published info about BWV. Amazingly, Disney itself then screwed up again later. A number of years ago, room size info included on Disney's website site gave the approximate sizes of the rooms as they actually are. A few years ago when it did a significant makeover of its internet site, someone put back in the wrong (and larger) sizes that were shown on those original plans.


As to above listed sizes, there is an error for AKV: the GV in the Jambo building is 2349. It is the Kidani where the GV will be 2201. The other room sizes shown are accurately shown for Jambo (the smaller sizes are the value rooms) and at the Kidani the studios, 1BR and 2BRs will be larger: studio: 366, 1BR: 807, and 2BR: 1173.
