Can anyone tell me about unique Star Wars toys they've picked up in the parks? I'm thinking about Christmas presents, and am hoping to find some out of the ordinary things for some Star Wars nuts. I'm looking in the under 10 year old range.

Thanks in advance and have a magical day!

I'm not sure if it unique or not, but we got Darth Tator (Mr. Potato Head). He is great. Have fun!!!

I looked while DH and I were there, just returned Monday. DS(7) is real into Star Wars. I seen nothing that I couldn't buy at Toys R US or Wal Mart.

There is now Darth Tater and Spud Trooper. I haven't seen Spud Trooper at the parks but you can certainly buy them online for cheaper than the parks.

I don't know if you can get these anywhere else but the Lego store in DTD has some really cool Star Wars stuff I picked up for my nephew. Their family was there in June and when I asked what he wanted me to bring him in October, he knew exactly what he wanted and I had no trouble finding it.

Btw, he's 8 going on 9

Not at Disney -- but at Toys R Us/Wal-Mart, etc

My son wants the build your own light saber -- way cool!

There is a really cool park exclusive out. It's a Yoda and Jedi Mickey Mouse action figure set. I am going to see if I can find you a link it. I'm not sure if it was limited edition run, or if it's still available at the parks, I got mine a couple of months back.

I picked up a bunch of stuff for my nephew last year at the star wars store that I have not seen elsewhere (I doubt they are exclusive items, I just haven't seen them in the stores around here). I purchased a couple of blasters, one stormtrooper one and one rebel alliance one--they both light up and make blasting sounds (not too loud).

I also got him a rebel alliance t-shirt (they had dark side ones too), a rebel alliance pennant, a lego imperial warship, and another ship that works with the action figures for his large collection, but I can't remember which one.

One thing I just remembered that they have which IS unique to the store is a ship of the Star Tours vehicle.

We went to Star Wars weekend last year, and I bought Jedi Mickey. Later on I ordered Darth Mickey. Darth will definately be a Christmas gift. By the way, does anyone know when Star Wars weekends are for 2006?

I plan to spend a lot of time (and probably a zillion dollars, sadly) checking out Tattoine Traders in a couple of weeks, I'll bring you back a full report about the cool stuff available!

Sigh, the store outside of Star Tours is why I am asking ALL family to give Disney $$ to my 4yr old for Christmas. I know his eyes are going to POP when he sees inside that store. LOL :earseek:
