Unique Souvenirs

This isn't very unique, but I bought the oven mitt that looks like Mickey's Hand/Glove.

Its just really cool to take stuff out of the oven with a big white Mickey glove. I love it!

Not so much unique but more of a tradition....Every year when we go on vacation we get ornaments from that place. This year, I want to get some more Disney ones so that I can decorate a whole tree full of Disney.

If you weren't going to go back to Disney, what would be the one souvenier that you would get? I don't know if we will return after our first time and I want to make sure we each get something that we can keep forever to remember our trip. My kids will most likely want toy like souveniers but I also want to get them something unique and special that I won't be able to get elsewhere.

Last year we bought the Mickey head cookie cutter so that when we bake our Christmas cookies for friends and family, each tin will have a 'hidden Mickey' inside!

Oh, and we also do the Christmas ornaments...

Our best souviner was a disney scrapbook that lights up. We filled it with all of our pictures of our 2007 trip and it expands so we can add more pages for future trips. The other cool souviner is a picture frame. I found it in world of disney downtown. It has 10 openings for pictures and is very nice looking. For $25 it was a steal.

Cool! Where did you get it?

Sis ended up getting it when she went back. We didn't purchase and then couldn't find it.

OK, the short story...if you pick it up when you first see it, you shouldn't have a problem finding it. Disney has a lot of these items. They are just so darn cute that I think they have a little trouble keeping them in stock. Just look in the housewares section of the gift shops.

We also have Mickey parts salad plates. {These really help me and DH with portion control.}

I always get a bamboo back scratcher in the China pavilion at Epcot. I have a whole collection of them now and my back never itches any more! :rotfl2:

They do the pick a pearl at the Mitsukoshi Department Store in the Japan pavillion. :)
