Hey everyone. I heard a lot of people that have used the disney junior encyclopedia of animated characters for an autograph book. I think this is an awesome idea. Unfortunately it has a copyright date of 2009, which would be ok if there weren't so many new characters. I was wondering if anyone knows of a book like this that is a little more updated and includes characters like jake, Sophia, and doc mcstuffins. Or does anyone have some creative ideas for keepsakes with autographs?

Last trip I used images from the dis-sign thread and made a photobook from shutterfly. It turned out really cute and the characters loved it

I've been thinking about this. I was thinking about having a blank autograph book, but then after I get home printing all the photos of my daughters with the characters and incorporating them with the autographs somehow. Anyone have some good examples to share?

I'm not sure this qualifies as unique, but I printed on Shutterfly some wonderful autograph cards by a designer here (tinadarlich). I used a 6 x 8 binder and included pictures from our past trip. After our trip, I'll add more pictures. Here's one of the pages

You can download them from photobucket. They're 4x6 and you can adjust them in photoshop or another program.

LOL, it's late for our April vacation too. I have the older Junior Encyclopedia. I'm taking it to Office Depot, they'll remove the spine and bind it for me using a large binding coil. When the new book is released, I'll have Office Depot add the new pages. We'll take it in November with the new pages.

Do you know how much the binding is?

I've decided to use the designs for autographs that was suggested to me by one of the dissers on here. I'm getting a photo book made from Walgreens. Just a little 1, but we are doing a ton of character dining so I'm finding images to use for each dinning experience and separating them in the order that we will be eating there. After I'm finished with those autograph pages I'm going to have separate pages for the different parks for the characters that aren't involved with dining. I think it's going to look sharp when I'm done and I think my son is going to love it!

We made sure our daughter was familiar with all of the stories she would encounter in WDW before we took her. We had just finished reading Peter Pan and brought a copy of the book with us. We met Tink and her sign it. Then we met Peter Pan and Wendy. We were the last people in line to meet with Peter. He took the book and almost filled the first blank page with a great personal message to her. They both took pictures with her and prepared to take their break. Right as we were getting ready to walk away, Peter takes her hand and says, "c'mon, let's go for a ride." We hurried over to Peter Pan's Flight, escorted by Peter Pan and Wendy, and got on the ride with no wait. They couldn't join us on the ride as a matter of policy, but it was still pretty incredible nonetheless. Our quick thinking PhotoPass photographer captured the entire thing.

Disney always finds a way to make a magical experience out of even the most basic encounter.
