Which, I am grateful for.
I had uniforms when I was in elementery ... never again, please.

oh so public schools in the USA don't have to wear uniforms?

pretty much all schools in the UK have to wear uniforms..

Girls:
Skort (plaid for sophs and frosh, gray for juniors, khaki for seniors)
White Oxford Polo (long or short sleeved)
Sweater (Vest or Long sleeved - Required to wear from november to april)
Tights or Knee High Socks, navy
Penny Loafers or these Combat Boot looking ugly things

Guys:
Pants (navy for sophs and frosh, gray for juniors, khaki for seniors)
Oxford Shirt (long or short sleeved)
Tie (one for sophs and frosh, one for juniors and seniors
Sweater (vest or long sleeved - must be worn from november to april)
Shoes or Penny Loafers
Dress Socks (but no guys where them)

I love uniforms. I thought i was going to hate them but they really do make my life easier. lol

i'm a senior though, and college doesn't have uniforms, so i'll never wear them. lol

there isn't even a dress code really. you can't wear really short skirts or pants with holes, but thats about it.

Green sweater.
Socks; must be knee high
Shoes; must be your typical private school look (like Mia's in Princess Diaries)
you can barely wear makeup
no dark nail polish

i swear. it's like a prison in there.

Nope never been in a school with a uniform. Ha ha I try not to dress up unless I have to, and even then I just wear jeans a sports jacket and nice shirt. (Think Church)

School polos (baby blue, navy, pink, white, grey, red, black, or green)
Any shoes
Solid colored jacket/sweater.

Guys:
Khaki or navy shorts or pants

For me:
White/blue collared shirt (technically, we're not supposed to wear polos, but I do anyways.)
Red/powder blue V-neck sweater
Navy/tan pants
Black or brown dress shoes

And for guys it's pretty much the same but they have to wear ties.

We don't have uniforms, we have a "dress menu".
But it's basically uniforms.

We can wear khaki, brown, black, or navy pants and shorts.
Shorts must be knee length.
Pants can't be tucked in boots (like those really cute snow boots; everyone does this anyway).

We can wear maroon, black, navy, gray, or white shirts/vests/anything else that can go over a shirt.
Shirts must be polos.
Only approved logos can be worn (in other words, they don't want you to wear Hollister, Abercrombie, ect. but everyone does anyway)
Shirts must be solid colored.

Sweatshirts/jackets must be solid colored and have approved school logo on them.
They can only be maroon, gray, black, navy, or white.

I hate it.

The rule for hair is stupid though, for guys at least, can't touch their eyebrows, collar, and it can't go past more than half of their ear.

Girls nice dress:
white oxford cloth shirt with collar
(same skirt as top)
closed toe open or closed heel dark leather shoes
No shorts or pants with this dress (for girls)

Guys nice dress:
white oxford cloth shirt with collar
navy pants with dark leather belt
dark socks and leather shoes with closed toe and heel
no shorts


And whenever we wear the shorts or pants we have to wear a dark leather belt and shirts tucked in at all times

My uniform is the ugliest and most uncomfortable thing ever.

Winter:

White long sleeved blouse
red, yellow & blue striped tie
blue jumper that does not fit anyone (itchy like crazy)
navy blue blazer/jacket, which is oversized and makes everyone look fat.
Long, way below the knee, pleated navy skirt which you cannot roll up because our school badge needs to be seen on it.
'American Tan' tights, most ugly colour ever. And some of my friends with darker skin, god, it looks awful on them.
Black shoes. no individualism allowed.


Summer:

Short-sleeved white blouse
long below the knee pleated skirt
navy blue blazer/jacket
tights
black shoes.

buttons have to be done up at all times, skirt must be "appropriate" length always, shirt always tucked in, no socks, PLAIN black shoes with no heel whatssoever, blazer must be worn at all times.

I can't wait till university lmao.
