We decided...this year we ain't gonna let Mickey stick us for our paper!.....but it still finds it's way to the big O! Last year we were able to take our 2 lovely nieces whom had never left ohio to WDW (2 adults & 4 Kids) and it was so much fun we are gonna roll em to Universal Orlando...Here's the plan so far!

Orlando schools start Monday Aug. 7.
Ours start Aug 21
so we gonna roll in on Sunday Aug 13 (hope the lines B low!)

We booked an Embassy Suite on Jamacan Ct. for 119.00 a night for 6 nights With an AAA discount. (Any thoughts on our choice?)
They offer a free cooked breakfast, free evening drinkes & snacks (5-7) & what looks like a nice pool & hot tub.

We will purchase the buy 4 get 5 deal (5 days for 99.00) from the Mastercard Deals on Universal's site, then add 1 more 5 days for 99.00 ticket.

We also have 2 (and are hoping to aquire 4 more) 2006 Entertainment Book Meal & Movie pass coupons. (PM me if u got an x-tra & I'll return the postage)

PS..last year we recieves 26 Disney Luggage tags and, as we were driving down we had folks PM us & we shipped them all to fellow Dis-ers in Pixie Dust filled envelopes..Hoping for some returned kindness!

Our plan is to hit parks Mon &Tues...Wed drive to CoaCoa beach & spend day @ the beach(forgoing the parks)...Then back for more Universal Thurs & Fri.

We are debating the purchase of 2 days worth on Express-Passes at a cost of 120.00 per day...Possibly for Mon & Fri as these are supposed to be the bussiest days. (any thoughts?)

Any & all comments or ideas are welcome!

Thanks!

I've never stayed at that hotel, though you could possibly search the board sor check tripadvisor.com although, have you checked the AAA (or APH [annual pass] discount if you have that?) $119+$120 seems like a bunch for the day, I'm not sure how much it generally is that time of season for onsite.

we have stayed there for a week and you will appreciate the space of the rooms. if you are there between 5-7 they have a managers reception. free drinks, the pool is nice because it is half in and half out of the hotel very unique.

You will not be sorry for staying at the embassey suites.
