Unhappy New DVC Member

So, our guide told us we could start booking at 1 pm ET yesterday, so of course I called as soon as I could...they couldn't find us in the system. MS finally called our guide in CA and she was out of the office all day, but MS assured me that she spoke with someone and I could make ressies later in the day. Sooooo, I called this morning at 9:25 ET and they STILL can't find us. Nobody can say why either....I am so disappointed....I am trying to book my first trip home. Of course my guide is not in the office yet as it is 6:45 here.

I am so sorry you are having trouble with you new membership.

There is no way to know where the glitch is, it may be in FL in Member Accounting, or it may in CA. Here's hoping it is worked out soon.

We purchased back in Feb direct from DVC at SSR and our we told our guide that the sale was contigent on booking a reservation for this May. The guide call MS and had the room held until we were in the system and could "officially" book it. I put the down payment on CC on Wednesday, she had a Member number for us Friday night but it took me until Tues the following week to book the room due to MS being slamed with 11 month reservations for Christmas. Good luck

Looks like we were incredibly lucky then. We signed our contract and banked some of the points before we even left the office. Two days later, while we were still in Florida, we rang MS and booked our cruise and our first visit home for September.

We joined back in Feb when they were offering the Developer points, it took a good week before we were in the system. I heard something on the lines that there are a few gals who enter new members in the system.

Hope you get in the system soo, so you can book your first visit home! We are in the process of booking our first visit too!

We bought 3 days ago and I got my member number before I left the preview center--today is our first day back home and I called and banked my 2007 points so I can use them for our trip April 2009.
