Sorry, have to vent about this.....At work this week we're having kind of a weeklong celebration, I work in a call center and there's some sort of industry thing called customer service week. The company alotts the department money for different prizes and food during the week. This year the person running it set up some little fund raising type activities to raise more money that we could add to the department fund to buy better prizes (we had a used book sale, bake sale, etc....) It's been extremely busy for the last 6 months and it's kind of a nice little break. We'll they had drawings all week for some pretty great prizes, ranging from movie tickets to DVD players, TV's and CD Walkman...We had lunch delivered to us earlier this week from Joey Bouna's (I know it's in Chicago, Milwaukee...not sure where else) Anyhow, the had italian beef sandwiches, chicken, and a vegetarian option. 2 people who sit near me complained all day that it was too spicy? And why did they order from there (IT WAS FREE!) Today they had a nice catered lunch of lasagna, ravioli, spinich lasanga, an alfredo dish and garlic bread (again it was free) and people are complaining again.."I don't like Italian food..." " Why didn't they order ribs??" I mean come on, it's FREE don't eat it if you don't like it...One of the people complaining also won the DVD player this week! And of course when they ask for volunteers to help plan this week, none of the people who complain ever volunteer to help.....
