I am having a difficult time deciding on a trip in June or waiting until December. My UY is December. I presently don't have enough points, so I will need to borrow. If I borrow to book a June trip and cancel, would we be able to use those points for a December trip? Or do those borrowed points expire Nov. 30th?

Borrowing DEC 2009 Use Year points into DEC 2008 UY means you will have to use or lose them by NOV 30 2009 because once borrowed they cannot be put back or banked. But you would be able to bank your 2008 Use Year points up until July 31 if you had to cancel your June trip.

You might have a better chance getting the reservations you want for December, but I wouldn't wait.
