We also saw birds flying around while eating at the Concourse Steakhouse. I remember being concerned that they might poop while flying over. hehehehe.........great story.

I was reading your post and watching TV at the same time. The first time I read it, I thought you said a PENGUIN landed on your table. I was trying to figure that one out!

I agree that a pigeon is bad enough.

That sounds similar to an experience we had at Liberty Tree Tavern last Thanksgiving. A gentleman sitting at the table next to us was talking and then the next thing you know....he was on the floor. The chair legs broke and he hit the floor. Needless to say the manager took care of their bill and they filed an accident report, but the look on that man's face was priceless.

This is one of those stories that will be repeated for years to come - remember when the pigeon hit daddy in the head at Chef Mickey's!

That made me laugh! My family is exactly like that. My kids are constantly saying things like, "remember when..." (and it could have been something that happened just an hour or two ago).

We're eating at Chef Mickey's for the first time next month. We'll be on the lookout for any birds!

there's a whole REST of the story I don't think we'll ever know. Some possible last sentences:


....and it tasted JUST like chicken!

OR

...just a few feathers and a happy 'coo coo'.

...the staff meal never tasted so good.

...the message didn't get through, despite the valient efforts of the brave carrier pigeon.
