I got one when they cancelled my dining reservation earlier this year. It was a $25 gift card. The restaurant was open, but they cancelled me anyway, I guess they overbooked. It was only for Beaches and Cream, which we have been to before, so it was a welcome gift. But $25 would not have made me happy if they cancelled one of my other ones!
I will keep an eye out for this. So far, my reservations all still appear in MDE, but I suppose that could change at any point.
When this happened to me, it was removed from MDE, so your dining is probably safe then. I bet it is something like that though.

I didn't think so either, but I recently did online check-in, so it was the only thing I could think of that might be a connection. Definitely puzzled about this one.
Correct because it’s as only for value and moderates at roll out. I think they were going to or did add it to deluxe stays (non DVC) shortly before the closure period.
It was certainly a nice surprise! With so many scams and phishing attempts out there, I couldn't help but question the legitimacy considering it didn't come with any explanation. But, I definitely won't look a gift horse (card) in the mouth
