Uneasy with TA...should I change?

I used a TA for my last trip and was very pleased. She was very helpful. She got me the code rates I wanted, and all my PS's including CRT. I thought the TA and the company were very helpful and was eager to use them again.

Planning my next trip, I emailed my TA directly requesting a rate, asking whether she could provide it directly or whether I should complete the online rate request form. I never heard back. So, I went ahead and filled out the on-line request form (for one resort), asked a few questions about other resort options and rates, and indicated which TA I worked with. I got a quote back (but no answers to my additional questions). I booked it with my same TA.

April 14 - I sent my TA a few more questions.
April 15 - I got a reply that she was getting me more info to answer my questions, and she get back to me (No problem, I was satisfied with that...)

Never heard back....

June 12 - I sent another email re-asking a shorter list of my original questions

As of today (June 17) I haven't heard *any* reply :(

Now, I used this TA before and liked her, and she did well with codes and PS"s but I am getting nervous with the quality of service this time. My trip isn't until November, but I want to be all set when my 90 day mark comes around.

What do I do now? Do I change TA's? I would want to stay with the same company. How would I get a new rep? I hate complaining or going to a supervisor, especially when I like someone - and I had been happy working with her in the past....What do I do? :confused3

Advice appreciated! Thanks.

Do you have her card? Usually they send there card whenthey send your package. GIve her a call. You have no # give her one more chance and let her know you like her but have concerns and you will go else where with your money. Something may be wrong in her life now.

I'm given to understand you're already booked. Not knowing their cancellation policy, I can't advise you what to do there. I don't want my advice to cause you to lose a deposit or such.
I also have no clue as to the level of what info is pending. Is it something simple that should have been done in a week?
If so, I'd contact her today and ask her what the status is on what's pending. If she's done nothing on it well give her a few days (not half a month this time) to get done then get back. If she still hasn't started, I'd enquire as to what's holding her up. If the answer isn't satisfactory, it's time to go to a superviser. She may be waiting for info from someone else she hasn't got yet. If she is, she should be able to tell you what she's waiting on.
I wouldn't threaten to take my money elsewhere. If it's to that point, it already belongs elsewhere imo.

Just an idea I had my dreams unlimited stuff going into my junk mail account for some reason have you checked there? And who are you using? If it is DU you can email the guys here and they will take care of you. I always hear back from mine same day or next AM latest. Good luck and enjoy your trip.

I'm guessing it's not an issue with your e-mail provider sending it to your junk mailbox, as you've stated that you did receive the quote and at least one response from your agent.

You didn't mention the TA you're using, but if it is DU, then just lookup the DIS'er WebmasterJohn. He'd be more than happy to investigate this for you.

Good luck, I hope you get some answers soon.

Thanks...no, it doesn't look like any replies are in my spam killer box. Some of the questions were simple, and some required a bit of info...but nothing so over the top....things like: Do you have any info on the food & wine festival? Any info on the princess tea party, and is it difficult to book? What age is the requirement for the pirate cruise (I've heard 3 and I've heard 4)? I booked POR and wanted to know what other resorts were options for us as a family of 5 and what were the rates...

I think I may contact her one more time, then decide whether or not I need to request a new agent from the same company....I just hate doing things like that, though, especially since she was decent the first go round. *Oh well, it is stressing me out* :worried:

Thanks for the the feedback.

I've never used a TA so maybe I don't really qualify to comment. All I want to say is to go with your gut instinct. If you're uneasy, get a new TA. I feel you've given enough chances. Your TA could at least let you know why you haven't heard from her.

You just can't mess with a woman's intuition! :confused3

If you aren't getting good quality service, contact her supervisor. If she is not answering emails and not fulfilling her duties, her supervisor needs to know it.
