Underwhelming restaurants?

Thumbs down for Pizza Port! If you are looking for salad or pasta the Plaza Inn offers a much better value. They have a chicken alfredo pasta and the cobb salad is way more substantial at Plaza Inn.

Totally disappointed with Lucky Fortune, Carnation Cafe for dinner (love it for breakfast), Rainforest Cafe (never had a good meal there and gave up). We have had a great breakfast at TLT one time, then a mediocre the next time.

I actually really like BTRBBQ, they make a lovely veggie option.

Hubby got the worst food poisoning of his life at that horrible Chinese restaurant, Lucky Fortune. Big group of us and he was the only one who ate that food. It hit him like a Mac Truck. Just floored him overnight. He was much better by morning but man, what he suffered.

We make the "X" sign whenever we walk by it and just hate it. Shunned forever.

I wasn't too impressed with La Brea Bakery - I ate both breakfast and dinner there. The bacon/eggs/potato breakfast was dry and boring, I preferred the similar breakfast at White Water Snacks. The burger I had for dinner was ok but nothing special. I was really looking forward to eating there based on the menu descriptions but was disappointed.

On the other hand I've really enjoyed the food at Rainforest Cafe both times I've been there, which seems to be the opposite of many people. Will be going back there next trip.
