Exploring excursions offered thru non-DCL vendors for Nassau. Has anyone tried the Undersea Walk excursion? It sounds great, certainly something different, although @ $150, quite pricey.

We're 1st time cruisers, have narrowed down our choices to:

Undersea Walk,

Dolphin Excursion/Swim,

Blackbeard Stingray/Snorkel, or

Historical tour & Andrasta Gardens (love flamingos!).

Any words of wisdom from experienced cruisers? Thanks.

I would also love to hear some reply's also! We are still trying to decide upon a Nassau shore excursion too! :cool1:

On our last cruise we went to Ardastra Gardens. We didn't book the excursion through Disney. We just caught a cab there and back. We loved it!! It was one of the highlights of our trip. I got picked to be in the parade with the flamingos andd have some great pictures!

I's my preferred choice! It's great for first time snorklers. You enter enter the water from the shore (most sting ray/dophin encounters I believe you jump or climb off a boat in the water.) There is a feeding session included and the snorkle water is only about 6-10 feet deep, again great for first timers. They provide all the equipment and lunch is also included. Grant it 's not Disney food but it's one less thing to have pay for on the spot. There is also another beach area to swim or to relax and enjoy the sun.
