BUT name / recommend some cracking albums that have flown underneath the radar of most listeners.
3 to start with
Marvelous 3 - Hey!
band pretty much flew under the radar in the UK but the lead singer went on into producing and writing is now making a name for himself (Butch Walker) excellently well written pop punk.
Chuck Berry - Hail! Hail! Rock & Roll
60th birthday live show, with Keith Richards on 2nd guitar. plus (among others) Etta James's duet on rock and roll music, is a perfect example of bringing the house down.
Headcat - Headcat
Lemmy of motorhead singing rockabilly standards on paper shouldn't work, but does...amazingly well.
