Undercover tourist

Hello, I was wondering of anyone has had any experience booking their tickets to WDW through UnderCover Tourist. We will be needing a 4 day pass and when I change it into Aussie dollars the price jumps up way over what it should even with the AUD dropping. Has anyone just left it is USD and booked - hope this makes sense .

Also we thought we might just do it when we get there - do we save a lot of money booking ticket before we leave?

I've bought my WDW and US tix from Undercover Tourist. I even used the link from MouseSavers to save a dollar per ticket (off the UT website price). It took up to 10 - 12 days to arrive.

I bought in USD; when the dollar was at $1.04; and paid the transaction rate of the day when it landed on the credit card (plus fees). I've never tried using the UT conversion into AUD.

You do save money on the tix compared to gate pricing; and there are a couple of other (legitimate) ticket sellers when you get to Orlando, should you prefer to do it face to face. The thing is they are usually down I-Drive or even in Kissimmee.

It just comes down to what you prefer.

I bought my 3 tickets off UT also using a Mousesavers Discount. Between the UT saving and the Mousesavers saving, I think I saved close to $50 over buying from Disney. (That was for 10-day park hoppers with Water Parks and More).

I don't remember a conversion option, so I must have paid in US dollars.

I bought 5 day hoppers from UT for our upcoming trip using the Mousesavers link. Like PIO said, it took about two weeks to get to my house. I will use them again for our 3 day Universal tickets when I've built up my bank account. You can buy offsite or online through Disney too, we bought our DLR tickets through Disney on our last trip but I didn't know better then

and dont forget the undercover tourist tickets include tax, wereas the official disney tickets at the gate are plus tax

I've also used UT. Twice for WDW and also Universal. No problems, good prices and really easy. Another bonus is they send actual tickets as opposed to vouchers. Just walk up to the gate on your first day good to go.

they are pretty awesome just order early as they post them to you, saves having to drive there and pick them which i did last time !!

I recently used standard delivery. Can't remember how long it took for the tix to arrive - maybe around 10 days-more than 1 week but don't think it was 2.

I used the standard delivery (free) and the Mousesavers link and they were in the letterbox within 10 days. I got an email that notified me of shipping so I could keep an eye out.

I was really impressed with the service, not to mention very excited to get my real tickets and link them to MDE!

We are staying at Hard Rock Hotel & get the unlimited express pass - does it have to be linked to the tickets we purchase? Can I still buy the tickets from undercover tourist or do I have to buy direct through Universal?

I would buy the UO tickets from UT and save some dollars. The unlimited express pass is a separate card. When you check in to HRH, they should tell you where the machines are to get this card done. You and all the family should go there, get each person's picture taken and the machine will print out the card with your picture on it.

I would buy the UO tickets from UT and save some dollars. The unlimited express pass is a separate card. When you check in to HRH, they should tell you where the machines are to get this card done. You and all the family should go there, get each person's picture taken and the machine will print out the card with your picture on it.

I compare what it would be for room only compared to buying tickets in a package & found it was more expensive in a package the time but I think when I did it I excluded taxes, so not sure if I compared properly!

I bought the whole package from Universal when I stayed at HRH last year.

At the time the package was just a few dollars more expensive that splitting the bookings up, so I decided I wasn't saving enough for the hassle of doing multiple bookings. Plus I liked the way the Universal package also allowed me to book shuttle transfers at a price I was happy with. I booked the private, meet and greet transfers, and it was so quick and hassle free arriving in the airport to someone with our name on a card.

Anyway, like PIO said, the express passes were on a separate ticket. There is a self-service machine inside the HRH lobby where we picked them up. The system of two separate park passes, as well as a separate room key seemed a bit archaic to me. It did make me wonder how long it would take to streamline things and put everything on one plastic room card. I predict if it hasn't happened this year, it will eventually.
Not that it was a big issue. Once you enter the park, you can put away your entry passes and just keep your express passes handy. I bought a pocket lanyard and keep all three of my family's passes around my neck.

Also I thought a cool touch with the room cards is that they individualise them with your name and you get to keep them. I kept mine as a little souvenir. Not that it serves any purpose, but it does make me smile

Thanks, I probably should of got the package. Can't wait till this part of our holiday I think it will be the most relaxing part of our holiday as disney will be exhausting!
