To get tickets mailed or p/up in Orlando?

How much do they charge to ship tickets to Canada?

Shipping is free to Canada, and quick. They ship UPS, and we got our tickets in Ottawa about 3 business days after ordering.

It's free as long as you don't choose the "Express shipping" option. The longest I've ever had to wait for my tickets is a week. :goodvibes

UT is an awesome business ... I can say that everytime I've order tickets, there has been no issue at all!

Great service, we've used them twice. I was surprised how fast we got out tickets. Even in Canada :goodvibes

We've had some issues with UPS charging us hefty fees at the door (duty & processing fees).

Has anyone run into that with UT tickets? Are these tickets subject to duty?

My ticket from UT came in about a week and was post-marked from Ontario. I had no issues at all! They arrived in a white envelope in regular mail.

No duty or processing fees charged. And that makes sense. Under NAFTA, it is the country of origin of goods that determines duty. The tickets are printed in the US and are only usable in the US. No duty on that!

The worst duty is usually charged on clothing that is made overseas and shipped from the US. Big mail order companies like Lands End or LL Bean will collect the duty and save you the processing fees, but smaller companies just ship it across, and UPS has to charge the duty due and adds a brokerage fee on top. I'm careful to check the country of origin for most stuff we mail order from the US.

That's great to know! Thanks.

Yeah, I haven't been so careful and have gotten a few unpleasant surprises after ordering things, so I wanted to double check with the tickets.

It's those brokerage fees with UPS that really kill me! They charged us $40 for X-mas gifts sent from a friend in the States last year! I complained on this end and got a stone wall in response. My friend complained Stateside and got them to refund me the $40. Big difference in service here in Canada. :sad2: I now avoid UPS wherever possible.
