Can some one please explain this to me. We are heading to DW(hopefully) in Aug. As of right now we used our 40% off pin code for our room at the Beach Club. We have a 7 hopper pass just for the parks, no water parks, and the base dinning plan. On another thread some one suggested using the undercover tourist to save money. I can cancel my package and just book the room and then get the tickets from the undercover tourist. Also with those tickets can you still get the meal plan and can you get those tickets transferred to your room key. And will it really be saving me money that I would truly notice. Right now are vaca is costing 3200. It will be myself and my my husband, my daughter age 5 and my son age 2. Any and all help is much appreciated.

I think that to get the Dining Plan you need to have a package booked, not a room only reservation. That means that you would need at least a 1 day ticket for everyone in the party added to the reservation. I am guessing that would negate any cost savings you would get with Undercovertourist as you would be buying 2 first-day (ie: most expensive) tickets - one with the package and one with the 7 day pass from undercovertourist. I would leave it as it is if you really want the dining plan.

Have you priced out the undercovertourist tickets? USUALLY you end up saving maybe $20 - $25 per ticket - and with buying only 3 tickets - that likely wouldn't put much of a dent in your cost anyway.

If you need to save more $$ to make this vacation doable - look into going at the end of August with the FREE DINING plan - that would definitely save you a bundle but you wouldn't be able to use the 40% off code - if you switched to a Value or MOD using Free Dining - you could likely save over what you have now - even without the 40%. OR - skip the dining plan with your current reservation - get grocery delivery and do some meals in your room and bring snacks and/or sandwiches to the parks and you could likely eat for less.

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. I always debate the Dinning plan. Cinderellas Royal Table and 1900 Park Fare are a must for us per my 5 year old:rotfl: so I guess that is why I figure it is worth it but I am not really sure.
