I am looking into ordering a pass from undercover tourist for my upcoming trip, but I am hoping to upgrade it to a premier pass.
I was just hoping that someone could confirm that is possible?
I know they sell legitimate tickets I am just over thinking everything probably and don't want to invest the $400 in the ticket if I can't upgrade it in the end.

Thank you! :D

They're Disney tickets and you can do anything with them you can with a pass you buy from the Disney site. We upgraded our UT pass last year, adding a day at AK and this year we have a 9 Day Hopper we're going to upgrade to a Platinum AP.

Yes, you can.
BUT-
Be sure to USE your UT ticket at least one time to go into a theme park BEFORE you do the upgrade.
(Yes, that's what I meant to say… Use it once before upgrading.)

okay! thank you :D that should be easy enough.
Do you know if i got the E-ticket if I can just take my magic band and get it upgraded? or will i need to print out the paperwork?
it's no big deal either way i'm just trying to be prepared.
I'm a little paranoid it won't work out
Thank you so much!

You can upgrade it straight from MDE when you're there. No paperwork needed.
I'll need to get the pass from guest relations though (as far as I know) premier passes can't be purchased online and come with a different card since magic bands can't be used in California.

I bought base tickets and plan to upgrade to hoppers when we arrive.

Can this still be done? I was considering this option.....but not sure I need hoppers...was going to just add it at park if we needed it.... in the past I know you had to add hoppers to the full number of days on the ticket

1. Yes.

2. There's not a down side to this.
It has always been a one-time price for the entire length of the ticket.
For example, it costs the same one-time price to add the Hopper to a 4-day ticket or to a 10-day ticket.
You don't pay "by the day."

Robo, what if there is only one day left on a base ticket? Would adding the hopper option still cost the same, or would the charge only be for the one remaining day? TIA

I'm almost certain it's the same price, doesn't matter how many days you have used or not used.

That's correct.
Disney does not "pro-rate" these kind of things.
