I had one last park ticket to get for our trip in November. I just ordered it from undercover tourist. I received an email stating they needed to confirm the order. They want me to send a picture of my husbands license and a picture of his credit card through a "secure" link. This makes me really uneasy. I am going to have him call them later. Has anyone else experienced this?

Very, very "normal" common procedure for UT.
It has been very much discussed on these boards.
Nothing to worry about.
If you want the UT tickets, feel safe to comply with the request.

Nope. Have ordered with them twice and never dealt with this. Placing the phone call first seems wise.

But...google reveals this: https://www.disboards.com/threads/is-this-unusual-re-undercover-tourist.3522991/

I just ordered four 6 day park hoppers from Undercover Tourist. I didn't have to do that.

Thanks for the replies. I ordered from them previously and this wasn't required. I find it to be such an odd request.

Here's a long discussion about this which was posted this February.
There has been more discussion of this over time.

Yes it's normal, they are trying to protect people's credit cards from false charges and their own business from charge backs. I would send them the info without thinking twice about it.

I have ordered several times from UT as recent as yesterday and they have never asked me for that information. I ordered yesterday and they were shipped today.

I never did any of that with UCT either but I got my tickets for my 2017 trip in about 2002!!

They had me do that too. I think maybe if your purchase is over a certain dollar amount they require it. That's why some people are asked and some aren't

They are doing this again? ugh. I understand it is "legit", but there is no way I'd do that to get tickets. Personally, I would move on and use another vendor (e.g., ParkSavers). I have nothing against UCT and used them in the past and was happy. But it's a pretty crazy request, IMO.
