Undercover Tourist tickets/FP+ question

We have 6 day UT tickets. We plan to add 2 more days to them after we get to our first park on our first day. I'm a little nervous about our FP+ though. We are arriving earlier than expected and plan to go to the park on a day we don't have FP+ scheduled - and we have 6 other days of FP+ reservations. Will I lose one of those days of FP+ reservations if we enter early?

Hope that makes sense. Thanks so much for any advice.

:confused::confused::confused:

I'm not understanding your question. However, you can only book FPs for the number of days you currently have. After you add days to your pass, you can then add on FPs for those extra days. Does that help at all?

I'm pretty sure I get what she's saying, and it's a question I've had too.

Say I have 5 day tickets with fast passes booked for a Monday-Friday. Then my schedule changes and I find out I can go for an extra day at beginning of the trip. Now the first day I plan to enter a park is Sunday. I will plan to add a day to my tickets during the day on Sunday, which will cover the duration of my trip, but for a little while on Sunday, until I've added the additional day, I've got a ticket with 4 days left on it, but 5 days of FP+ booked on it. Do I lose the fast passes I have booked for Friday because, for a while, I don't have enough ticket to cover the day anymore?

Hmm. I'm not sure what would happen. I think I would add days to the end of the trip, and not the beginning if at all possible.

I have the very same question. We may want to visit a park on our first night (Monday) depending on our first day schedule/flight. If we did it would be Epcot to walk around and shop. I have a 4 day ticket. I will be booking FPs for Tuesday thru Friday. If we decide to enter Epcot on Monday (using 1 of our 4 day tickets) will that result in my (and OP) loosing a day of FPs prior to our adding the extra day (I also bought via undercover).
I had assumed that yes we would loose our FPs for that last day.
The question - if anyone has done this did you loose your last day of FPs? Maybe this is a question for the ticket reseller. :confused3

This has come up a lot on these boards.

My suggestion is to enter the park using the original ticket on the "added early day," and IMMEDIATELY go to the inside-the-park Guest Relations and add the extra day.
I've posted this many times, and have never had a report that it didn't work as planned.

I've booked FPs for family members and after reassigning a ticket away from a FP holder, the FP remained in the system even without a ticket assigned to that specific family member. It remained linked in MDE for 1.5 days. Another DISer also did the same research and his FP also remained for 1.5 days.

As long as you add on days to your ticket as soon as possible, you shouldn't lose your FPs. (We researched this at the beginning of May)

Thank you all very much- yes, that was exactly what I was asking. I think I'll try going straight to Guest Relations when we get to MK the first time. Or, to be honest, I might just lose the savings we got with these tickets, and add the days at the hotel tonight, so i don't have to worry about it or wait in line in the heat on our first day.
