I am wondering if Undercover Tourist ships tickets to Canada. the site seems to have good WDW ticket prices but there is no choice on the form for Canada. Canada is mentioned on the form as they indicate "state/province", so i am confused...

Has anyone purchased from them?

Hi Goofy's Apprentice
I have used undercover tourists twice now (2006,2011) I found that they were very quick (not including postal stike). I thought they had better prices than most other reputable websites. You can also get almost any ticket from them.:thumbsup2

Lots of us Canadians purchase from them. Shipping is free to Canada as well as the US. They ship UPS - no postal strike disruptions. Service is prompt; seems to run about 3 days to major cities. I know my order was sent out very early on the first business day after I placed it; ordered Sunday, shipping confirmed Monday morning from UPS.

UT is a great outfit!

Their "free shipping" is via Canada Post. Since Canada Post is on strike, that option has disappeared. I ordered a ticket from them earlier this week before the postal lockout and was able to choose "Canada" for regular mail service. I received an email from them today stating that they can either hang onto it until the strike is over or I can pay to have it sent by UPS or I could pick it up in Orlando if necessary.
I did notice today that "Canada" is no longer an option for free shipping. I'm sure it is because of the postal strike. You could always order your tickets using "Orlando pickup" instead of having them shipped. Their customer service is awesome. You can email them at info@undercovertourist.com with any questions you might have.

I received the same e-mail yesterday.I'm not going for 3 months so I'm waiting.I've used them many times .

thanks so much for your replies. I guess we are just caught by the postal strike. We are in no rush for the tickets. I'll send an email or call and arrange things that way.

I am actually shocked that a US website has paid attention to a Canadian postal strike. That is yet one more reason to be impressed with UT.

thanks again.

That must be a recent change. Our last order was in Jan 2011 (5 months ago) and shipped FedEx (my mistake about UPS). I still have the tracking receipt they sent me. I did not pay for shipping, it was free.

Too bad if they aren't using FedEx anymore. It was extremely fast and convenient.

We've used UT twice in the past, and was very impressed with them. I thought they came by regular mail :confused3 but it was fast. And the tickets are real tickets, not vouchers.
Some companies don't show all the charges until check out- then you see shipping charges. UT as mentioned ships for free (if you wait till mail resumes )
You see all charges on the main site. No hidden costs that suddenly appear at check out.
If you use the link from mousesavers.com you'll get an extra (small) discount.
Sign up for the mousesavers newsletter, and you'll get the link on the monthly newsletter, it's a bit more of a discount then on the web site I think.
I hope this strike ends soon.

Love the Dis for learning new things! This is the first I've heard of UT, can I use these tickets even if I book to stay on site and have a dining plan?
Thanks for sharing your knowledge :)

The only way to book on site with a dining plan is via DVC as I understand it. Unless something has changed.

Yes, UT would work for you.

The United States Postal Service is not accepting any mail for Canada until the labour dispute is over, so they'd realize fairly quickly when they tried to create a shipping label :)

Amazon.com has also disabled their "Regular" shipping to Canada.

Just did a comparison, and UT shipping has definitely changed.

Back in January "regular" shipping was no extra charge, with a 12 day delivery (they came in 3) via FedEx. Regular is still free, (but apparently via USPS/Canada Post) and can now take 24 days. Express shipping via FedEx is $30 for 1-5 day delivery.

This still may compare favorably to ordering direct from Disney. Their cheapest shipping was $25 via FedEx back in January.

Note that with the price increase in Disney Tickets last week that UT is still holding to line at the old pricing for now. But this may not last for long.

Tickets direct from Disney are nicer - they are the plastic "credit card" tickets. The UT tickets are the same Disney character cardstock tickets that you get at the Disney gates.

^ Yes but when you check in,you can get the ticket info transferred to your room card for each individual, and the kids can have the tickets for souvenirs.

We have two things happening at once!

1. Canadian Postal Strike:
- we temporarily removed free shipping to Canada due to the strike.

2. Disney ticket price rise
- this causes a large number of orders and to ensure we are able to process orders (security, accurate packing, order amendments) we temporarily increase the shipping time on free shipping from 10-12 business days to 22 business days.

As soon as the order back log is cleared we will resume the 10-12 business day shipping and when the mail strike is over we will add free shipping to Canada back!

Thank you

Undercover Tourist :goodvibes

I ordered tickets from UT last year and the return address was from Toronto. So they must have a supplier here in Canada, which is why its free shipping. Of course that doesn't matter with the mail strike, but thought I'd let you know the tickets are not coming from the states.

Also, for what its worth, Amazon.ca ships UPS. We ordered something last week and got it in 2 days! Woohoo!

We just ordered tickets from UT this past weekend. Since I was buying tickets for my family and my sisters' (8 passes), I just went with FedEx shipping. Ordered on Saturday, got the FedEx tracking info Monday morning, and had tickets in hand Tuesday morning. No customs fees, super fast, saved us a big chunk of money. Thanks UT, it couldn't be any smoother!

Just purchased our tickets today... at the old price :thumbsup2

I spoke to their customer service dept. before ordering, told them I was Canadian and mentioned the postal strike (which of course they already knew). They told me to select "Orlando Pick-Up" and then send them an e-mail after placing our order to switch it to regular free delivery. They are holding onto the tickets and when the strike is over they will mail them out.

They are holding our ticket purchase as well.

This is the first time I have dealt with Undercover Tourist and I have to say they are very helpful and professional...great customer service!
