Orbitz currently has a special on Park Hoppers - buy 3 days get 2 free. This makes them about 15 bucks cheaper than UCT.

UCT has hard tickets, Orbitz has vouchers. Are there any other advantages to using UCT at a higher price?

Can the vouchers be converted to hard tickets to book your FP+ in advance before going?

Can't say I know too much about Orbitz, but I have used UCT the past two trips without any issue. Are you saying that Orbitz is $15 per ticket cheaper or just $15 total cheaper? Does Orbitz include tax and shipping in their price because UCT does so long as you have the time to wait for their standard shipping. I just like having the hard tickets in my hand so i'd still probably go with UCT, but hopefully some others who have used Orbitz in the past will give you additional info.

I was torn between Orbitz and UCT because of the buy 3 get 2 free deal. I've ordered from UCT before and had no problem, but liked the savings offered through Orbitz. Yes Orbitz price includes tax already and you print out your voucher and will have no trouble linking to your MDE account. UCT are actual tickets (cards) but take 5-7 business days to get to you (and also link to MDE no problem). But there is an expiration to the buy 3 get 2 free offer, and I was worried that if something came up and we couldn't make it before the special offer expired (even though I printed out the voucher and linked to my MDE account) then our tickets would be worthless.

You don't need hard tickets to make FP+.
You can use the voucher numbers in MDE.

if you buy on orbitz don't forget to use ebates

This is what we did. We bought from Orbitz through ebates and saved an extra $20. You have to wait for the code to add them to MDE though. I think they say up to 5 business days. We bought ours on Saturday and had the code Tuesday.

Orbitz is $15 per ticket cheaper than UCT with the Mouse Savers discount. The current price is $344 tax included.

Let me see if I've got it straight: UCT will send me hard tickets, but I have to wait for them to arrive in the mail. Then I can add them to my MDE account. Orbitz will email me a voucher immediately, but I have to wait about 5 days to get the code required to add to MDE. I would have to go to Guest Relations at a park to pick up my hard tickets.

However, I don't really need the hard tickets if I've already added them to MDE and linked to my Magic Bands. Is this correct?

Am I missing something?

Check out official ticket center via tourplans link
For our tix they were $11 cheaper then ut via mousesavers. In turn it might only be a couple dollars difference over orbitz but you get hard tix if that's what you are looking for

I don't think there is any need for the hard tickets. If I'm following correctly, once you get the numbers you can link them to your magic bands through My Disney Experience and make FP+ reservations and have gate admission.

It looks like Orbitz is the better deal even before this ebates thing is factored in. I just want to make sure I'm not missing something before I fork over the cash for the Orbitz vouchers.

I'm already going to use an Orbitz code to stack an additional 15% off to the 25% Disney room-only discounts currently being offered.

Correct. Just make sure you are going to use your tickets by 8-30-15 which is when the buy 3 get 2 free deal expires.

Nope, you're not missing anything. I have not redeemed my voucher yet so I don't know if they will give me a hard ticket or what, but it does say to take the voucher to a ticket window (maybe to activate it, I don't know.) It does say you have to wait 72 hours from ordering to redeem your pass and it could take up to 5 days for the code to come, but ours was super fast, Saturday morning to Tuesday morning.

And if you are not an ebates member you get a $10 gift card for joining too. Right now Orbitz activities (tickets) are 3% back so you'll get an additional $10.32 back for each ticket.

Top Cashback is offering 5% right now on activities and they also have a $10 sign up referral bonus (PM if needed). I have used them as well as Ebates and they are just as reputable.

Thanks for the advice everyone. We're going with Orbitz to save a little dough. I'm sure the savings will be blown at the Dole Whip stand.

I bought tickets on Cheaptickets/Orbitz and received my Disney code which has allowed me to link to MDE. My question is, do I still need to print out the voucher and do anything at Guest Relations or am I good to go?
