Undercover tourist- mail or pick up tickets in park?

We are heading to Orlando this Sunday. I've never used UT before but would like to use them to order tickets today. I don't mind paying for 2 day shipping so I could skip the lines at the ticket window when I get there (they ship real tickets not vouchers, right?). I'm just worried they might not get here on time. Anyone have experience they could share about how reliable the 2 day shipping is?

I don't know. I always use UT for our tickets but it's already Wednesday and you said you will be there Sunday. Plus, it's the last week-end before Christmas! Ordinarily, I like to have the tickets in hand but in this case I might opt for picking up the tickets when I got there.

If you have any past magic bands, you can use the email option. That way you get them inside of an hour. No need to have the physical tickets. Just scan them into MDE.

You don't have to have current onsite reservations. If you still have MBs from a past trip, this approach will still work. They're still linked to your MDE account (unless you've asked to deactivate them).

I.e., your MBs work even if you're not onsite on a trip--except for charging purchases. Tickets, FPs, SotMK, etc. all work fine with an old MB.

Sorry I never updated this thread. By the Darkside I meant Universal so no MB's.

As I went to buy my tickets I looked closer at the "pick them up" option and realized the tickets wouldn't be at will call, they would be at a store sonewhere in Orlando, I knew I didn't want to do that (also- store was closed on Sunday, the day we were arriving so wouldn't have worked anyway.)

I ended up just using the regular Universal site and using the print at home option which prints out an actual ticket not a voucher. Worked great because when we headed to the park there was a huge line at the will call window and we got to go straight to the gate!
