Undercover Tourist, can't pay with Disney Gift Cards

I wonder why Undercover Tourist won't take Disney gift cards to pay for a hotel reservation. They are about $25 on my night at AoA, but they won't accept payment with the gift cards. They just lost out on a booking because of that.

Why would they, they are not owned by Disney.

How could they? They are not a Disney company. It would be like saying, "Starbucks just lost my business because they won't take this Target gift card."

I'm going to assume it is because they, themselves, are processing the payment and then paying WDW just like other third-party wholesale sites do (like Expedia, Hotels.com, etc.). Only TA's who give payment directly to WDW (and don't process the payment themselves) can take Disney gift cards because they are literally taking the GC number and either inputting it directly into the WDW TA website or calling the payment in.

Ok, this. When I do use a TA, a certain one that can not be mentioned on these boards, they do take the gift cards for payment, so I was wishing UCTourist might as well.
