Under the Dome Question

I'm on page 759 of Under the Dome and am enjoying it. It reminds me of vintage King writing (he did start the book long ago) more than the writing he has more recently published.

Anyway......

Is anyone who read Under the Dome also a Lee Child fan? I loved it when Jack Reacher was mentioned as a reference to Jackie's abilities! He was mentioned more than once.

Does anyone remember Jackie from any of Lee Child's books? I don't, but it's been years since I've read most of them.

I created this SAME post/thread when I read it. I've read a few Jack Reacher novels and I couldn't remember that the author was Lee Child. Lee Child is a favorite writer of Stephen King.

I didn't see your thread. Mentioning Jack Reacher in a book is a nice way for King to tip his hat to Lee Child! It was like finding a Hidden Mickey when I saw Jack Reacher's name in the story.
