Under-rated attractions

1. Tomorrow land transit authority (old wegway people mover).
2.I also love just walking around in MK and WS and taking in all the themeing.
3. food
a. They have this long thing tri-color taffy in DTD (same store that has the fudge.....soooooooooo good)
b. caramel apples on main st or in DTD
c. Dole whip...YUM!

I'd have to say
1) It's a Small World (one of those sentimental things, as it was THE first ride I went on during my first WDW trip in 1979)
2) Hall of Presidents
3) Journey into Imagination -- I always love the cool things to do after you come out of the attraction

I must vote for:

Carosel of Progress
SpaceShip Earth
TTA

I wish Horizons and the old World Of Motion were back.. Those were two of my favorites as a kid.. I remember throwing tantrums if I didnt get to pick how we flew home in horizons....

Does anyone have those video ride throughs of those rides? I heard there are a few decent ones floating around but I could never find them.

I never considered Journey into Imagination an underrated ride, b/c well its most favorite ride, but if people appreciate the magic of this attraction, then this would be my one and only under rated attraction!

My vote:

1 - TTA (an absolute fave!!)
2 - Swiss Family Treehouse (sentimental)
3 - the details at Epcot (I LOVE those sparkly sidewalks!) :D

I agree with The Wedway, and I love the model of EPCOT. Is that the one they used to have across from Town Hall? I know it's the one that used to be in Disneyland.

I also agree with The Swiss Family Treehouse. It upset me to see they made it the Tarzan Treehouse in Anaheim... Nothing against Tarzan.

MuppetVision 3D. I'm a Henson addict, but this always seems to be somewhat empty when I go.

I'm going to agree with everyone on TTA--although my whole family still calls it the People Mover. (Isn't that a much better name?)

Also, we like the railroad train around MK. It is a nice break for us, no lines and the kids think they are doing a fun ride.

Will be there in June for the first time in a decade. I'd say Carousel of Progress for sure. Also, the Canada movie for me, for the scenes and music. I just love the whole feeling I get in the world showcase. I know I'm going to like Test Track, but I'm sure I'm going to miss the old exhibit there. And I'll miss Horizons also.

For me personally:
1. Character Dinner at LTT There's so much hype around Cindy's and Chef Mickey's character meals yet I think this one is really incredible.
2. The Pumpkin Fudge (tastes just like pumpkin pie).

Kilee-
Where do you purchase the Pumpkin Fudge? Sounds Yummy!!!!

I think that Flights of Wonder at AK is really underrated. It's nothing fancy, but interesting and entertaining.

GarrettJD,

I must agree with you on the Flights of Wonder. My dd and I almost missed this attraction running to get to Kilimanjaro Safaris. There was a CM at the door encouraging us and others to come in a check it out. This was one of many excellant shows that I would like to see again.

I'd have to say
1 The Wedway People Mover AKA TTA
2 The Skyway ride from Tomorrowland to Fantasyland and back..think this might have gone now.
3 COP AND Spaceship Earth

without a doubt Tomorrowland Transit Authority....whole family loves that ride.
we were able to utilize it when space mountain was having minor difficulties...
it was totally exposed ..we got to see it as if it was out in the sunshine.
totally awesome..plus it is a great ride when you are just plain tired and need a break....

Minijeanie,

Did this happen anytime the week of July 10-17, 2004? We were there during that time and my DS8 and I were almost ready to get on the ride when all of a sudden it shut down, and they turned on all the lights and said they would have to fix "something" and then run some tests on the track before we could get on it. It was probably another 20 minutes at least before we got to ride! My DW and DD5 had no idea where we were, and I didn't have my cell phone with me. I kept seeing the cars from TTA coming around, and wondering what it would be like to see SM from up there with all the lights on. Just wondering if you were talking about the same time!

1. Carousel of Progress (It's a great big beautiful tomorrow....)
2. Grapefruit cake at Starring Rolls Bakery (they serve this at the Brown Derby...if it's not in the case, ask, and the server will run in and get you a piece!)
3. Luke at Cosmic Rays. We went there last trip and it was practically empty and Luke (one of the counter servers) gave us a long, incredibly magical show of disappearing pen tricks. He was absolutely awesome! Even my 16-year-old's jaw dropped, as did mine!

Can I add a fourth: doing the polka at the Biergarten!

I would guess that you could pick up the Pumpkin Fudge in DTD. They have a candy/food store which sells a large variety of fresh fudge!

Here's a few of my favorite underrated attractions:

Main Street Expo Hall cinema
TTA (WEDWay to you and me)
Swiss Family Treehouse
People Watching (anywhere)
Liberty Square Riverboat

Do you know the name of it by chance?? If not I can look it up later.

It is the Candy Cauldron.. look for an expanded shop opening soon with some activities for kids, etc.
