Last week, I posted DD and her fiancee decided just recently to get married June 10.

Well, we are doing fine with the wedding planning details and getting things lined up...but, Jeez, the comments we are hearing from some people!

I feel like eveyrintg DD and I plan for the wedding is under such intense scrutiny by relatives and friends, neighbors. Are we planning a "broadway show" or a wedding here, LOL.

I am getting to the point where I say, it's DD's and her fiancee's wedding and this is what they want. That's it.

Oh, my heavens, THIS June 10th? to you, herc, you must be worn to a frazzle.

I've never understood why some folks get so wound up about the weddings of others. Ignore 'em, do what your dd and her fiance (and YOU) want to do.

Congrats! I think I missed the earlier thread. I hope your dd has a beautiful wedding that's just what she wants.
