Under 3's in restaurants

Please can anyone advise what happens in buffet restaurants for under 3's do they just eat for free or do they have to pay if they have their own plate? Thanks xxx

in buffet restaurants they eat for free, they can have their own plate and choose what they like from the buffet, no charge for under-3s.
