Under 3's eating for free

Is this at all table service resturants including the ones in Disney Village and also how do you get the free meal, do you explain the child is under 3 and show proof and what menu do they get to eat from, or is it pureed food they give them.

We've always found that the buffet restaurants were happy to accept the ages of our children who eat for free. I think if you order at fast food and table service restaurant you'll be charged.

When DD was little we just ordered two adult meals at table service restaurant and asked for an extra plate for DD. She then had a taste of our food as she would never have done any justice to a child's meal
