Under 30 Countdown is in full effect

December 4th through 9th. I will have the little green mickey heads everywhere. Camera bag, back pack, luggage, stroller, door of my room at BLT. Say hi, be loud and proud. Im a fool in disney and rightfully so. IT'S Disney. Bringin the family this year again and should be a blast. Loved BLT last year and couldnt pass it up again. Love the location and everythingn it offers. In on the cristmas tree xchange, so excited to suprise my family with that one. Anyone else wana post something to this thread feel free. I plan on saying hello to everyone who says hi, im a nice guy even though i will most likely have a grumpy hat on.

Questions....
1. Weather???? what's that week like? Always go in september or august so no clue on this.
2. What can't we miss while there. We are doing thechristmas party so thats covered.

Hello from Delaware! This is our 8th time going as a family, but our first time driving, sooooo excited, I think my hubby could use a little pixie dust. We leave the day after Thanksgiving. We have only done Dec one other time as the 3 day part of our land/sea package. This time I plan on hitting up the candlelight processional, and the osbourne light display at HS. And can you believe we have never seen Fantasmic? The kids are getting older now, so we don't have to spend as much time at MK.

Weather can vary from year to year. We've been there when we needed shorts and short sleeves. We have also gone and worn coats/hats/gloves/sweatshirts, etc. It really depends on the year. Be sure to watch the weather forecast as your dates get closer. Plan on packing layers in case.

We love the Candlelight Processional and the Osborne Family lights at DHS. Be sure to spend some time looking at the resorts' Christmas decorations if you have time. We have never done it before, but this year we plan to listen to the holiday storytellers in Epcot. We hear they are wonderful.

We're in the under-30-day group too! We always rent a car in the Christmas season so that we can more easily visit as many resorts as possible.

In early December, the AVERAGE high temperature is still 75, so you have a much better chance of "warm" than you do in January. Last year, though, it was cold for most of December in central FL. Start checking the forecasts about 8-10 days out...anything earlier than that is a total guess and may be a stress-producer!

we always do the car thing as well. 130 this year wasnt too bad i thought.
im all about checking the weather the night before we leave. i will not be caught off guard.
so excited. i hope to see some people there, look for my green mickey heads with DISjunky on them.
